The
Increasing Interest in the sprinting bred quarter horse over the last couple of

Has put a
spotlight on the stallions available for breeding from imported frozen semen
That is

These
Stallions have all been available for a number of years thanks to Butch Wise of
Lazy E and
Dr Glenn
Blodgett of 6666s Ranch, who have supported the performance Quarter Horse
Industry for a long time and have been given very little in return.
All the
stallions available are both performed on the track and at stud and would be an
asset to
Breeders
who want to race or perform in the arena.
All are
priced to suit our market (with the exception of One Famous Eagle, who is still
far cheaper here than over in the US) with pricing being from $1250us to $2000us
The only
temporary obstacle that I see is the lack of quality quarter horse sprint mares
in this country to help upgrade our performance horses but we are fortunate
that we have some of the best sprinting thoroughbred bloodlines in the world so
there is no excuse for us not to have the quality of horses available to be
competitive and further lift the bar.
For those
looking for information or help with their breeding programs on mating advice
or the type of TBs etc. to breed to these great stallions we have an abundance
of knowledge available to provide help and support, people like Merrie Elliott
and Terry Chinner who have been involved in the Industry for a long time and at
the highest level, would be more than happy to be involved
I have several
progeny from the above list and cannot recommend them highly enough.
There will
be progeny and broodmares in foal by these stallions at the upcoming Merrie
Elliott performance horse sale in November
