The Taroom Fast Horses from all accounts was a very successful weekend. There was a fantastic field of horses with the eventual winner being Barcaldine horse Heartbreakin Acre ridden by Alisha Woods and owned by Jason and Kristy Coveney. Second place went to Miracle Fame and Rachel Little and third went to Darcy Doc and Kate Benedict.

Today I had the privilege of interviewing Bek Knudson one of the inspirational people behind the Taroom Fast Horses time trial sprints to be held in Taroom this weekend coming 12 & 13th March.

Taroom Fast Horses
Sprint racing is hotting up in Queensland with the first ever Taroom Fast Horses and Barrel Race at Taroom in Central Queensland. Bek Knudson the brainchild behing this event has put together an awesome weekend that encourages all people with an interest in sprint racing to come and have a go.
The prize pool is amazing with a strong focus on junior riders.
