Trusting you are all getting some good rain to start your year
off. I have been blessed with mostly a good year so far, but it is fairly
patchy in my neck of the woods. Which is South of Prairie on the Flinders
Highway in Mid Western Queensland.
The racing calendar is being finalized for the year and once I
have firm dates I will pass them on. The dates I do have are down the
page.
The Merrie Elliott Breeders cup is coming along with 22
nominations so far. Nominations are still open, with a late fee.
For those sitting on the fence you still have time. As I know it,
at this stage it will run over 2 race meets. The first is the heats in Richmond
on the 28th August and the Finals in Normanton.

sold.

It is a wealth of information and blasts from the past for anyone
involved in racing back in the day.
Heza Rare Man had a son go through the Nutrien Classic sale in
early February. For those of you who are unaware of the Nutrien Classic
it is a performance horse sale that mostly attracts campdrafters and cutters
and the odd polocross enthusiast. Moore Marz Bar a black 4yo stallion is
out of Moore Kit Cats a daughter of Rackeerter Cat. He was owned by Greg
and Andrea Lithgow and sold to Arrow Park for $11,000.
