                                                          Bymyside

Mystify owned and trained by Dennis Mann

Cha Cha La Belle owned and trained by Lee Bowker

Cochise By The Rock owned and trained by Logan Bethel

Steal The Thunder owned and trained by Tony Smith

Owned and trained by Tony Smith throughout her career, As A 2yr old won the 2003 All Australian Futurity by 5 Lengths in a 12 horse final held at Gympie and culminating with a dead heat with Destinys Fulfilled in the $15,000 Challenge stakes in Victoria, Tony a staunch supporter of sprint racing hauled her where ever there was a race meeting and she was very rarely beaten.

Tony purchased Dozen Editions , the dam of Bymyside from Julie Willem around 2000 in foal to Kambea Thunder Chick{ Bymyside} and with a foal at foot ( Tacka)

Tacka went on to win the All Australian Derby in the same year that Bymyside won the All Australian Futurity

Dozen Editions the dam of Bymyside was a brilliant racehorse in the glory days of sprint racing in Queensland starting 30 times for 14 wins 6 seconds and 3 thirds for total prizemoney of $40,500. And became as good a broodmare as she was a racehorse producing

Thundery Editions – Mare - 1998       by          Kambea Thunder Chick

Fluke Edition – Mare – 1997                 by         Model Bird

Rare Edition – Mare – 1994                  by          Model Bird

Bymyside – Mare -  2000                       by Kambea Thunder Chick

Black Magic – Gelding -                          by Kambea Thunder Chick

Great Athletes have that X factor but Bymyside also had a wonderful temperament, and she would follow Tony around the paddock never seeming to leave his side and so the naming of this great mare became easy for Tony and Bymyside was born.

The Sire of Bymyside, Kambea Thunder Chick is by the imported son of Jet Deck in Thundering Jet a prolific sire of winners in the early days of sprint racing including the undefeated Battle Deck.

The Dozen Editions line will live on through her very talented progeny with Tony already looking to the future having bred Steal The Thunder to the brilliant Louisiana Senator $500,000 Si 111
